While creating assignments for the users, how can we directly upload pictures or diagrams? Also, can we create polls and surveys and do we have tools to share the results of polls and surveys with the class?

When creating a test or a document you have a visual editor where you can upload any media you want.
You can also create polls or surveys.
You normally cannot show them to the class unless you give them the permission to be displayed the statistics menu items. In that case it will be possible.
