Automatic award certificate

Post by rico »

Hi,

I installed formalms 2.0 and I find it very well!
Only I'm facing a problem ...
I created a course with a file scorm 2.0, the student can access follow the lessons and then pass a quiz.
At the end of the quiz, the platform indicates that the student has finished and his score. I have attached a degree to the course but it does not automatically attribute itself when the student has finished and obtained a certain score.
How to do?

Thank you very much and happy Christmas!

Best regards, Rico

Hi Rico
1) please assign the one on the left, not the one on the right
2) also, you are still missing a crucial piece: please click on the wrench icon of your quiz and set it as an end object marker: yes

Happy Christmas!

it works ! Thank you very much Max!
Another question :
I create an administrator profile, but if I assign all the rights on the courses, when my administrator is connected, he can not manage the categories, why?
Merry Christmas too

Hi Rico,
because you didn't give him the permission to manage categories.

Hi Max,

I wish you a happy new year 2019!
I'm coming back to you about rights to add category for an administrator profile.
I do not understand I gave full rights in the e-learning section of the profile and yet the link to create a new category does not appear. Why ?
Thank you for your answer :D

I made some quick tests myself, it seems this kind of permission for administrators does not work.

I'm afraid that forma 2 developers created the bug when declaring new permission (role) group called "coursecategory" without creating a related menu item.
All permissions come from menu items, as you can read in AdminRules model.
No menu item -> no entry in adminrules/menu -> no permission assigned.

Makes sense, it probably went like that.
