how to install favicon ?

hi everybody
I tried to copy favicon in template > standard > images
but nothing
I tried to copy in static < images but nothing

Could you tell me where I must copy my own favicon to

template>standard>images is ok, if you are using the standard template.
As I said in another thread, you should overwrite the existing favicon.png and favicon.ico with the new favicons with the same file name.
