Has anyone scaled FormaLMS to many users?

Hi Pritchard, yes, it can be scaled to manage heavy traffic conditions. We already offer a cloud hosting service based on a cluster of servers with balancer and auto-scaling, send me a pvt if you are interested

We would like to scale it ourselves. Using a cloud host provider is not an option for our project. Is simply adding enough server instances enough?

Well, if designing and managing a cluster architecture is simple for you...
We managed pretty well installations up to 25K registered, with hundreds of concurrent users
At some point you will probably need some code and db optimizations, let us know if you need support when you reach the limits.
