the formalms website's registration and lost password pages doesn't function correctly and gives me errors. Why is this happening?

Please provide more information .
forma.lms version , php version , error details , ... a screen shot

I suppose you receive an error because your LMS cannot send e-mails, therefore I assume you didn't configure an e-mail sender for your LMS on your server.
Moving to installation and configuration, it's not a bug.
