Is there any way of setting a course reminder? when people haven't processed a course for a certain period of days or weeks they get a message like: REMINDER: *COURSENAME* not yet completed.

My second question is if it is possible to set a course for all students to complete if the instructor of the group has finished the course so everyone else gets a certificate too. setting a kind of *groupadmin* finishing it for all?

Course reminder: no, there isn't a native function to do that, although we produced a patch that does that (as well as many other things).

Second question: well, in my opinion that feature would not make too much sense. It's a condition for which I don't see many real-world needs.

You can achieve the same result with a couple of clicks by selecting all the students of a course and editing their state to set it as "complete".

Is this "patch" being offered for free?

No, it's not free. If it was, it would be in the core installation
