Total time of course on menu

Any way to add the total time of the course on the menu? I set one of my course average time for course to 3, meaning 3 hours. Am doing something wrong? I want the student to see course total time which is 3 hours

The total time displays the total time spent on the course.

There's no way to add time, and it would also make not much sense.

The field you are referring to (average time) is just a label, not something that "adds" time. However, that label is often used for certificates. When you don't want to display the time spent, but the expected time.

If you use that tag, you may display the information that user XX has completed a course that lasted, in your example, 3 hours.
