Hello
I must be doing something wrong...

I would like some courses to be available freely without login or registration. Although I set all the course requirements to "open" the course catalogue still requires users to login. I am certain there is some way of providing trial courses for potential users without logging in but I seem unable to find the way. Help would be very much appreciated.

This moodle-like feature is not implemented in Forma.

OK - thanks
Is there some way I can create a dummy user and log into the system transparently by calling a URL with username and password parameters passed to forma e.g. https://myforma.com?username=XXX&password=YYY

You can do it only with SSO functionalities.

OK. But in that case you still have to login somewhere.
thanks

So... what is the best way to set up some demonstration lessons/courses? Create a new site (probably safest) OR... ???

Maybe you can provide demo user and password in the login page adding the credentials in the language file, or in the top frame as you can see here:

Yes - more or less what I was thinking of doing.
