Incomplete functionalities

Post by tempuser »

Hello,

I see from the student interface that they can purchase a course with the bank transfer available as an option, but nothing from the back-end to enable/disable this option, or to specify bank details. How is this configured?

Also about the Help Desk part, is it integrated or still planned to be included in the future?

Thank you.

Hi,
the 2 features you refer to are actually complete, working, and have been used for years by many...It's just that you are not looking into the right places.
Courses can be purchased if you flag the appropriate check in the course settings.
Bank transfer or paypal are the 2 available options
Bank details can be edited in the language management
Help desk: of course it's integrated, you just have to specify the e-mail recipient and turn on the specific feature.

May you please provide the key for bank account details in language management? I searched for 'bank' and it showed only quest bank.

I don't know what version you are using, but actually some translation keys have only been added to Forma 1.4.3 or Forma 2
In this thread you can find a pdf or excel file with the missing translations: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12557

I'm using 1.4.3

The PDF in that thread also doesn't have the word 'bank'

Can this option be disabled (I mean bank option)?

"the word "bank" is not there, but the information is....

Module: cart
Key: _WIRE_PAYMENT
Translation: Payment information (or, better, insert "Wire transfer" or "Bank transfer") here

Module: cart
Key: _WIRE_PAYMENT_DETAILS
Translation: insert your bank details here...

No, the payment by wire transfer cannot be disabled.

I don't have a 'cart' module. I searched for 'wire' and for 'payment', only advance payment % shows.

By the way, when the user purchases a course, this % is translated as the net amount, not % of the total. It's issue with semantics.

I know you don't have a "cart" module, you have to add it. That's what I meant.
Under "language management" you also have an "add" button which you can use to add modules and keys at the same time.
Please write the module name as it is, and the key name with capital letters and exactly as I wrote.

Thank you. So do you mean that all of the keys in the PDF of the other thread need to be added in the same way?
