Mandatory standard fields

Post by spi »

Hi

I use the 1.4.2 Forma version

If i try to create a new user or import from csv, there are no mandatory fields for user. For example, i created a new user with only have the user field complete.
The platform never ask for other mandatory fields.
Is there any place to configure that? (I don`t need create an additonally field)

Thanks and best regards
Sebastian

The mandatory standard fields when a user self-registers are username, password and e-mail.
First and last name are the other standard fields, they can be mandatory or not.

Under Administration > main > configuration > settings > user

scroll down towards the end of the page, you'll find an option: First Name and Last Name are required in order to register
Flag it and those other fields will become mandatory.

Hope I understood what you meant

Thanks for the answer,

I saw the configuration that you mentioned. But my problem is other
For example, i'am a super admin and if a want to create a new user, the platform not require me non mandatory user fiedl. For example like a super admin i could create a user with only user name, the platform don't ask me for email or password!!!

In fact, the e-mail is not mandatory. It can happen that you have users without an e-mail address. Of course it is an absurd situation, but as a superadmin you can do what you want. Right now, the same is true for passwords (even if I think this last aspect will soon change in future releases).

Finally, since we're not talking about bugs, I am moving the thread to a different forum.
