If you need an LRS to store xAPI statements you might want to look at Learning Locker - it is a free Open Source LRS by HT2 Labs. This could help people who need xAPI until Forma has implemented their own solution.

OK that's great. I think a lot of developers are used to using GIT for open source and it makes it easy to create branches for new features. I would love to contribute code back into the project if possible.

Getting start with Competences: Let's say we need to add a Health and Safety competence to some users in our IT staff Log in as admin and got to admin area. Chose: Menu > Users > Competences [Optional] Add a new category, e.g. IT Staff Chose "Add new competence" [Optional] Assign to category created...

I think the problem with Tin Can is that it generates a lot of data and I've not seen a good solution for how to report on it yet. But the ability to use it within mobile apps does make it tempting...
